Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Bellevue will present the family comedy, 'Leaving Iowa', the last production of the season, on May 31, June 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, and 14, 15, 16. The production begins at 8 pm on Fri. and Sat. evenings and at 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for Seniors, and $9 for students with proper ID. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 402-291-1554 between the hours of 10 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday.

While 'Sister Act: The Musical,' playing through Sunday at the Fabulous Fox Theatre, is by no means the epitome of theatrical storytelling, it succeeds in spades in its primary goal, and that is simply to entertain and empower. With a toe-tapping 70's inspired score, a script that never takes itself too seriously, and enough sequins to blind half of metro-Atlanta, 'Sister Act', the final show in Broadway Atlanta's season, is a feel good family-show that leaves audiences with a smile on their face and a tune on their lips.

ANN, the new critically acclaimed play written and performed by Emmy Award-winning actress and 2013 Outer Critics Circle Award Nominee Holland Taylor, is launching the Great American Women Talkback Series, which will feature post-show discussions hosted by Tony and Emmy Award winner Lily Tomlin, Tony award winning playwright and activist Eve Ensler, feminist activist and writer Gloria Steinem, and award winning political humorist Kate Clinton. Despite what you might see on certain television shows, the creation of a new Broadway musical generally takes years, and there are almost always countless substantive changes across numerous productions before the show even has a chance to grace the Great White Way. Such is the case for feel-good 'Sister Act: The Musical,' which opens at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre Tuesday, April 23rd. However, despite this first national tour starting just last August, this will not be the first trip to Atlanta for 'Sister Act.'

The Flea Theater will present the New York Premiere of WHITE HOT by Tommy Smith (Pigeon, The Wife). It is directed by Courtney Ulrich and stars The Bats. Performances run April 26 - May 26 at The Flea (41 White Street between Church and Broadway in Tribeca).
