After a successful first season of Alhambra After Dark concerts and tribute acts in 2015, The Alhambra Theatre & Dining is launching its 2016 Alhambra After Dark music series with a more diverse slate and promising more shows (along with some of those that proved popular last year). In 2014 The Alhambra launched a branded series of non-theatrical programs called Alhambra After Dark so it could offer slightly more diverse fare from its traditional show schedule. Alhambra After Dark (AAD) has ranged from concerts to comedians and trivia nights to one-person shows, but it has set its biggest footprint to date on the nationally-burgeoning genre of musical tribute acts.
The multi award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHo ACE) is thrilled to present a world premiere play, SissyBoy, written and performed by James Mellon and directed by Kevin Bailey. SissyBoy will begin previews on Friday, February 5 at 8pm; will open on Friday, February 12 at 8pm and run for eleven performances through Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim Blvd.) in North Hollywood.

The Donmar announces full casting for the UK premiere of Elegy by playwright Nick Payne. Directed by Artistic Director Josie Rourke, the full cast is Barbara Flynn as Carrie, Nina Sosanya as Miriam and Zoe Wanamaker as Lorna, all making a return to the Donmar stage. Elegy starts previews from 21 April and imagines a very-near future in which radical and unprecedented advances in medical science mean that it's now possible to extend life.
