The cause is rumored to be a heart attack but no details have been confirmed. The actor was in Italy for the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily, where he was set to join director Gabriele Muccino for a festival event. Below, we remember the stage and screen star.

Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present its first full workshop production, Anna Ziegler's Life Science directed by Joe Cacaci, today, June 19 through June 30 (press opening June 21) at Bard College at Simon's Rock Daniel Arts Center (84 Alford Road, Great Barrington, Mass.). The production will run Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm, with the exception of the Saturday, June 22 performance, which will begin at 9:30pm.

ABC Studios had another banner development year with nine new shows ordered to series. New dramas "Betrayal," "Killer Women," "Lucky 7," "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," "Resurrection," along with new comedies "Trophy Wife" and "Mixology," were picked up at ABC. New drama "Intelligence" was ordered at CBS. ABC Studios had the most drama orders of any studio.

New series for the 2013-14 season are "Back in the Game," "Betrayal," "The Goldbergs," "Killer Women," "Lucky 7," "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Mind Games," "Mixology," "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," "Resurrection," "Super Fun Night," "Trophy Wife" and new alternative series "The Quest."

After passing on the series just two months ago, the premium cable network has reversed their original decision, and has ordered JUSTICE as a limited series of seven episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On LAW & ORDER: SVU's upcoming episode, 'Secrets Exhumed,' when FBI Agent Dana Lewis (guest star Harden) suspects that a 25 year-old rape-murder case in New York is connected to several unsolved cases across the country, she joins the SVU in investigating the crimes. In recognition of Black History Month, Sony Movie Channel (SMC) is turning over its Take Two Tuesday night programming franchise to movies featuring some of film's top African-American stars.

According to Deadline, Open Road Pictures is in talks to distribute the ensemble John F. Kennedy conspiracy flick, PARKLAND, while eyeing a Nov. 22 release - marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination.
