Anyone looking for a reprieve from the madness of the holiday season should look no further than the Holiday Follies at Signature Theatre. This charming Christmas present of a cabaret show wonderfully combines humor, audience participation and a catalogue of both conventional and unconventional holiday songs to create an evening of pure fun.

Signature Theatre presents two limited-run shows that bring the spirit of the holidays to the stage for family, friends, and music lovers of all ages. The fun begins this week with composer and Signature favorite Matt Conner (Crossing, The Hollow, Nevermore), who will warm up the intimate ARK Theatre with his new show A Matt Conner Christmas.

Another world premiere musical by the talented pair of Matt Connor and Grace Barnes is directed by Eric Schaeffer.

This season, Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of the new musical CROSSING with a book by Grace Barnes, music and lyrics by Matt Conner, with Barnes also contributing additional lyrics. The all-star Summer Hummer burlesque returns for a second triumphant year, with direction by Eric Schaeffer and performances by the best - and bawdiest - talent that Washington stages have to offer. Last year the event raised more than $16,000 for the Taking Care of Our Ownemergency fund, which provides short-term assistance to Washington-area theatre artists in unexpected need. Building on that success, this year's production features an added performance and an astounding line-up of top performers from Washington and Broadway.
