RENT With Rapp, Pascal Hits St Louis 6/2, Single Tickets Go On Sale 4/18 At 10am

Jeffrey Seller Kevin McCollum Allan S. Gordon, the producers of the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical 'RENT', have announced that original Broadway cast members Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp are reprising their roles in the show's current national tour coming to St. Louis for a one-week engagement June 2-7. Curtain times for the U.S. Bank Broadway presentation are Tuesday-Saturday at 8 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday at 2 p.m. & Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Chicago RENT Audiences Raise Over $60,000 For BC/EFA

Last week, Chicago audiences for RENT showed their generosity and support for those in need despite tough economic times by raising more than $60,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. In addition to collecting donations in the lobby each night, monies were raised in special on-stage, live auctions. RENT's very own Anthony Rapp, joined by fellow cast members including Adam Pascal, personally auctioned off two unique prizes: a walk-on role and a chance to shadow the stage manager during a performance of RENT in Chicago.

Van Hill Entertainment is proud to announce that the Off-Broadway premiere of ROOMS a rock romance, starring Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger, will begin performances on Friday February 27th at New World Stages/Stage 2 (340 West 50th Street). Opening Night is set for Monday March 16th (7 PM). ROOMS a rock romance has music and lyrics by Paul Scott Goodman (Bright Lights Big City) and book by Goodman and Miriam Gordon, and will be directed by Scott Schwartz (Golda's Balcony, Bat Boy: The Musical, tick, tick... BOOM!, Jane Eyre).

Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum and Allan S. Gordon have announced that Rent, The Broadway Tour, engagement at New Jersey Performing Arts Center will have a day-of-performance lottery for $20.00 front-row seats, similar to that used during the Broadway run. Those wishing to enter the lottery should arrive at the NJPAC box office two hours prior to curtain to have their names placed in a box. 40 minutes before the show, names will be drawn for the 34 front-row seats. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only.

The show will run Saturdays, December 6, 13, and 20, at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays, December 7, 14, and 21 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, December 11, at 7pm. Matinee Sunday, December 14, at 2 p.m. Note: RENT contains mature themes and is not recommended for young children.

SPAMALOT Creator Idle Takes 'Monty Python' Online with New Website

The New York Times is reporting that Eric Idle is guiding the drive to officially take Monty Python to the Internet.The creation is called, Pythonline.com, it is a social network and digital playground, offers clips of old material that people can use to make mash-ups, perhaps inserting their own pet in the killer-rabbit scene from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail.'
