PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Releases New Block of Tickets Through September 30

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the new Broadway hit written by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and directed by Tony® Award-winner Roger Rees (Nicholas Nickleby) and Tony® Award-nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Pee-wee Herman Show), have announced that a new block of tickets are now on sale for the season's most Tony-nominated play. Tickets can now be purchased through September 30, 2012, via Ticketmaster and in person at the box office of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47 Street).

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER to Launch National Tour in Denver, CO - August 2013!

Producers Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price and Tom Smedes announced today that Rick Elice's new play, Peter and the Starcatcher, will embark on a national tour, opening in August 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO. The play's Tony Award-nominated directors, Roger Rees and Alex Timbers, will direct the touring production, which will be represented by The Road Company.

RIALTO CHATTER: RENT Headed Back to New York?

In today's New York Post, Michael Riedel is reporting that RENT is headed back to New York, this time to open off-Broadway in a new production at New World Stages. The production will open in June, after the Tony awards, and will be directed by original RENT director, Michael Greif, and produced by Allan S. Gordon, who was one of the producers of the show's original production. They're said to be seeking an all new cast of unknowns for the show.
