NBC's primetime coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19 at 8/7c is highlighted by the short program in ladies' figure skating where reigning U.S. champion Gracie Gold makes her individual program debut after winning bronze in the team event. The program also features 2010 Olympic gold medalist Yuna Kim of South Korea, Yulia Lipnitskaya, who helped lead Russia to gold with a top performance in the team event, and two-time U.S. national champion Ashley Wagner. Also highlighting primetime is the giant slalom gold medal final in men's alpine skiing featuring reigning world champion Ted Ligety and Bode Miller, the most decorated skier in U.S. Olympic history, who most recently earned bronze in the super-G. In women's bobsled, 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Elana Meyers, who currently sits in first place, takes her final runs. Rounding out primetime coverage is the parallel giant slalom gold medal final in men's snowboarding.

The project 'centers on a detective and an FBI agent with very different world views who are teamed up to clean up the semi-mean streets of Battle Creek, Michigan. Penn will play another local detective who initially has reservations about the newly arrived FBI agent.'

Paralympic athlete Jessica Long will be the subject of a 20-minute feature, Long Way Home: The Jessica Long Story, that will air within NBC's Olympic coverage this weekend.

According to Deadline, the network has just ordered a new spin-off pilot of his popular franchise, this time, focusing on cyber crimes rather than forensic science. The pilot will air this spring as part of CSI's season. Zuicker, CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn, and former CSI: MIAMI showrunner Ann Donahue will pen the script.

In freestyle skiing, top Americans David Wise and Torin Yater-Wallace should contend for gold in the men's halfpipe gold medal final. Also in primetime, two-time Olympian Nate Holland leads a deep U.S. snowboard cross team into Sochi, hoping to win a third consecutive U.S. gold medal in this event. Rounding out primetime on Tuesday is women's bobsled featuring 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Elana Meyers and the 3000m relay gold medal final in women's short track.

Last night's primetime Olympics on NBC (7-11 p.m. ET) averaged 21.3 million viewers and a 12.1 household rating/19 share – more than doubling the combined primetime viewership and household rating of ABC, CBS and FOX (9.9 million viewers and 6.0 household rating), according to live plus same day fast national data released today by The Nielsen Company. In addition, last night's viewership was up 11% from the comparable Sunday of the last European Winter Olympic Games (19.2 million for Torino in 2006) – marking the ninth time in 10 nights that NBC's Sochi viewership topped Torino.

Today's thrilling USA-Russia Olympic men's hockey game, which went to an eight-round shootout before Team USA won, is the most streamed hockey game in NBC Sports and NBC Olympics history. Due to the popularity of the game, portions will air tonight in primetime on NBC, including overtime and the shootout. Al Michaels and Mike “Doc” Emrick will join Meredith Vieira on the primetime show to discuss USA-Russia.
