At his inaugural Theatre Guild Season Launch held last night, new Chair Ben McCann was delighted to announce the programme of productions to be presented by the Theatre Guild in the Little Theatre throughout 2009:

MAY

New writing by students of the Creative Writing Program Interpreted for the stage by an ensemble of Theatre Guild actors

"What I say is right" - a play about language, sex, and power

Dr McCann said "It's an exciting line up that combines a range of contemporary and classic plays and highlights our commitment to providing a thought-provoking, diverse and varied program each year. I am particularly thrilled to confirm the continuing collaboration with the University's Creative Writing Discipline which offers many opportunities for student participation and showcases the vitality of the Theatre Guild's engagement with the University community"
