36 Blocks, A Call for Reparations
It's been 102 years since the African American community of Tulsa Oklahoma known as Greenwood, was destroyed within a seventy-two-hour period by hatred and discrimination. A hundred and two years that none of the business owners, or residents have ever received anything from the massacre and destruction of their town.
On Feb. 24th, 2024, on stage 36 Blocks, a call for reparations will open, taking audiences along on the tireless journey of pursuing reparations for descendants of
"Black Wall Street".
From 2024, to the hey days of 1921 before the massacre, Greenwood was the
epitome of Black Culture, sparking like a rare gem. Come share their joys and tears....
