What We’re Looking For:

Someone ready to embrace the role of Assistant Warehouse Manager, optimizing our warehouse operations in alignment with our unwavering commitment to theatrical excellence. This position serves as a fantastic entryway into the world of touring theater, providing the chance to connect meticulous backstage preparations with the magic of our onstage performances.

What You’ll Do:

Support the Warehouse Manager: 

  • Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations which might include but not limited to shipping and receiving, assisting the loading and unloading of trucks,  and organizing the inventory. 

  • Take and follow direction as provided by the Warehouse Manager

    Vendor Relations and Coordination: 

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in liaising with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and services. 

  • Assist in processing invoices and managing billing for warehouse services.

    Documentation and Process Improvement: 

  • Maintain and update warehouse documentation, including inventory lists, rental sheets, and vendor contracts. 

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.

    Management Support: 

  • Assist in monitoring the condition of warehouse items. 

  • Help organize and maintain detailed rental sheets for outfitting.

    Inventory Assistance: 

  • Aid in regular inventory checks, ensuring items are accounted for and well maintained.

  • Support in coordinating scenic and costume rental packages.

  • Potential cleaning and light repair work for costume and props items. 

  • Wig washing knowledge a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in warehouse settings.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lb. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. 

  • Knowledge of theatrical production or a keen interest in the arts is an advantage.

  • Ensuring that operations run smoothly is a key responsibility. 

  • Effectively communicating across teams.

  • Consistently maintaining accurate records.

  • Proactively collaborating with other departments.

Location:

Greater Baltimore Area
This is an onsite position.

Hours:  

  • Monday – Friday // 40-hours a week 

  • Periodic weekend and evening work is expected 

Salary:

$52,000 

Crossroads Live NA is based in Rockville, MD, a suburb of Washington, DC. The location of our warehouse is in the Baltimore Area.
