Full Cast Announced For THE CLAIM At Shoreditch Town Hall
January 27, 2020

The full cast is today announced for the return of Tim Cowbury's The Claim at Shoreditch Town Hall following its debut sell-out run in 2018. Mark Maughan directs Nick Blakeley (A), Tonderai Munyevu (Serge) and Indra Ové (B). The production opens on 20 February, with previews from 18 February and runs until 7 March.

Back in May 2015, news broke that the Turkish State Intelligence were shipping weapons to Syria. Can Dündar was the editor-in-chief who decided to take a risk and publish the story, he was arrested in November on the grounds of espionage and being members of a terror organisation. His unlawful imprisonment kick-started an intellectual resistance movement and garnered him worldwide support.

Arcola Theatre Announces Its Autumn 2019 Season

Arcola Theatre today announces its Autumn 2019 season: seven shows that explore the power of truth and imagination in troubled times. There are two London premieres, one UK premiere, one European premiere and one world premiere. Every play in the season has been written or adapted by a female writer, and over half are directed by women. Arcola co-produces with trailblazing companies, from some of the youngest to one of the most established in the world.
