It's a great show for this underrated venue, and the fact that the New London has the round configuration should make the transfer go smoothly although I believe the Olivier's stage is quite a bit larger.

I absolutely can't wait for this. I've only ever been to the National once due to my aversion to paying money for tickets but this was one show I was actually considering handing over money to see.

The New London could fit on the stage of the Olivier.
A little bit of tweaking and it will look fine- that stage at the New London is very flexible and can go back a long way.
Great if they get a year out of this one- there absolutely no reason it shouldn't esp as they are keeping seats at 45 tops!

Lee Hall, co writer of 'Billy Elliot' has now completed the screenplay for the movie version of the play.
The producers are now seeking a suitable director to transform the magic from stage to screen.

I cried so much at War Horse on Friday. I was astounded and amazed by the whole thing. Although the operators are clearly visible, unlike with Avenue Q, I completely forgot they were there and I was watching and believing a real animal. Stunning.

Ah.

You reckon if I went down personally to the box office on the morning of showdate, they will have tickets for bout less than 25pds? Since both War (after New London Transfer) and Priscilla are quite new-ish shows on West end, are they selling well? I can't really afford much more than 25pds per show just now.

For 25 you better leave 'Priscilla' for at least until the end of the year-at least!
'War Horse' will be doing very well through the summer but you will get it at TKTS and at the box office if your a student.
For 'Priscilla' you will need to fork out 45 and up!

^There are some 25 seats in the upper circle which are fine, just make sure you are in the ones closest to the centre. I was in E10/11 and had a very good view. People next to us had paid 49!!!! You can't buy them seats online I don't think but we rang and got them no bother.
