With the National staging J.B Priestly's 1937 classic, 'Time And The Conways', from April next year another of their hit Priestly productions hits the road next year on an extensive tour. First staged at the National in 1993, 'An Inspector Calls' went on to run in the West End for over 7 years at 4 deifferent theatres followed by over a year on Broadway. It is the production that brought Stephen Daldrys name to worlds attention and he his now represented in London and New York by 'Billy Elliot'. The staging of 'An Inspector Calls' was truly ground breaking taking it out of the traditional English drawing room setting and staging it in a stunning fresh new light! I wouldn't be surprised if this found its way back, yet again, to a West End house after the 9 month tour concludes. This is its 5th national tour so far.
