If they can make it work that would be awesome! They'll have to cut out a lot though. They should start out with Harry as an eleven-year-old, and have him find out he's a wizard and then skip a couple of years. It's probably not necessary to put in stuff about the Sorcerer's Stone or the Chamber of Secrets.

Considering the source, I doubt it's true. Hopefully, anyway.

I think if they tried to cram all seven books into one show it would never work.
Rant, Wickud, Rant, Wickud, Rant! We're not gonna pay Rant! 'Cause everythink is Wickud!

lakezurich will be played by Paul Groves in the BWW musical

Deffinatley would never work,I meana obvious things like, people are used to the film acters now and it would be hard to replace them, live quideche (that aint how you spell I know but I really cant be asked to look it up) please, the only way this could work is if they had MASSIVE budget and they didnt mind having a show that lasted 10 hours!

Yep ! I've been thinking about it since January but the more it goes on, the more it sounds crazy to me (too) !
Sarah bernhardt to a fellow actress: "Have you got stage fright, dear?" "No," the young lady aswered astonished. "Don't worry, it will come along with talent!"

What about a seven show cycle! It would go through the series once a week! Or not!

I don't like the idea. It even says in the books that Harry's a hopeless singer, and the only song ever mentioned is 'A Hot Cauldron of Burning Love' or something along those lines, right?
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

There's also this (from Prisoner of Azkaban):
Hogwarts Choir: [singing] In the cauldron boil and bake / Fillet of a fenny snake / Scale of dragon, Tooth of wolf / Witches, mummy, maw and gulf / Double, double, toil and trouble / Fire burn and cauldron bubble! / Double, double, toil and trouble / Fire burn and cauldron bubble! / Double, double, toil and trouble / Fire burn and cauldron bubble! / Something wicked this way comes!

I can see this happening... how depressing
Why, hello Margaret! Yes darling, half past five. Well, everyone, simply le tout Park Avenue and la creme de Hyannis! Well, the press table's going to be awfully crowded... but if you don't mind sharing a folding chair with Harper's Bazaar... Sing? Me? Heavens no, it's Edie's day, not mine... Although people can be so insistent, and I hate to disappoint. Twist my arm, blackmail me, threaten my very life, and who knows? You might get a verse of something...

Those Lyrics that Salene Posted are SO Stephen Schwartz!!!

Those lyrics aren't Schwartz they're Shakespeare, from "Macbeth". They just set them to music for the movie.
