Do West end shows do a rushlottery type of thing? for cheap seats like the Broadway shows do in NYC? Also Is Rent coming to London?

Im not sure if many shows do rush over here. I have heard Wicked does though.

And as far as RENT goes we can all hope but i have read that there may be a UK tour next year.

West End shows don't have a lottery system like Broadway - they tend to have a queing system. Tickets for that day go on sale at a set time to whoever is in line.

Shows that operate this include Wicked and Billy Elliot.

If you have a student card you can get student standbys at many shows, but we don't have the lottery system in the same way. Some shows have day tickets, but not all.

Is there any info online about the day tickets for Billy Elliot?
