Anyone else remotely excited that this will soon be just up the road (or down the tunnel) in a new French version?
Why don't you go? Why don't you leave Manderley? He doesn't need you... he's got his memories. He doesn't love you, he wants to be alone again with her. You've nothing to stay for. You've nothing to live for really, have you?

Sounds good to me also, a year from now, does anyone know if this will be sung in French or English?

I for one am looking forward to Eclipse Totale de Coeur...

I wonder if this show will work in France, given how virtually no musical theatre does.

Definitely en Francais. Translation aside, I can't see the the original team allowing it to be tampered with too much. If it plays for a about a year, please just Chunnel it straight to London!

It's supposed to play Mogador and just like "The Lion King", "Cabaret", "Zoro", "Mamma Mia !", "Sister act" and the latest "Beauty and the Beast" it will be adapted into French and produced by Stage Entertainment France. The staging will be re-created by Roman Polanski. Can't wait !

Sarah bernhardt to a fellow actress: "Have you got stage fright, dear?" "No," the young lady aswered astonished. "Don't worry, it will come along with talent!"

Sorry but I have zero interest in any show In a foreign language - just a personal thing (though I love Steinman's music I can't sit for 2 and a half hours listening to words I can't understand) . Would be over the moon if DOTV came to London though (in English).

As for musicals in Paris, I most certainly will be looking to jump on The Eurostar to go see the world stage premiere of An American In Paris next year.

Well this is far too exciting.
Saw it in Berlin a few years back and it really is a great musical. It's getting closer and closer to us. Fingers crossed!
