Isn't it time this all too short lived musical got re-worked and re-staged? The Menier Chocolate Factory would surely make a great venue....

Love this one! very sexy production but I honestly cant see it being staged again any time soon. Brilliantly produced CD too!

Yep count me in on this one.

I know the PSBs are very particular about the production/ sound of the show, but surely it's time to loosen up the rights and see what happens.

This show deserves a big Fringe life.

And Mama, love the cast recording. Pity certain members of the cast never quite sounded like that live...

I agree, they are far to strict with the rights, let the show have a life (that goes for Taboo as well)

Dev, I don't think they ever called that show a show during its run - more of a party, on stage, and off.
I certainly got taken in the night I went - and I will worship at the throne of Mdm Barber forever!

I loved this too. I went to see PSBs last night in concert and they sang a bit of the title song...

Their live shows are incredibly theatrical.

No, thank you. I found very little to enjoy in the show, starting with the completely unlikeable characters with no redeeming qualities. With the exception of a couple of songs, I found the score rather tedious. I liked Vampires and one humorous number sung by Billie Trix, but I can't remember the name of the tune.

Decent enough show for Fringe and amateur groups, but I wouldn't pay to see it again.

I prefered the Broadway production.
The book made more sense and the orchestrations were far better, as were the cast

Taboo's score, I think, is one of the strongest this decade. The book was poorly focused though. And considering the show derided Karma Chameleon (rightly), it felt like a sell-out to use it as a finale. Both 'Come on in from the outside' and ' Pie in the Sky' were better songs.

Poor choice of director, and some naive producing, otherwise it could have enjoyed a much longer run, I think.
