Upstairs at the gatehouse is to stage the first ever London fringe production of The Drowsy Chaperone in September/October!!!

Personal thoughts - one of the top 5 shows I have ever seen and can't wait to see it again!

This show is funny...or should be. Again, I ask why didn't this run in the West End?

A really great and cleaver show. I am glad that London audiences are going to get a chance to see it again. I do think that it is a shame that it dis not run longer during it's original run. But, then again that is just me.

ha ha. The look on that bloke's face also sums it up.

I could never get into the cast recording even.

A DROWSY return

I made an extremely hurried trip all the way from Sunderland to see this in the closing weeks. I really wish I had seen it more than once. My dad and I had a fantastic day together, saw this and Spamalot.

I still remember there was one night that I was walking outside the Marquis hotel in Times Square during Drowsy's run. A woman saw the marquee and was convinced that The Drowsy Chaperone was a sleezy club of some sort located within the hotel.

One of my favorite shows! My best friend and I were on vacation in new York and it was the first show we saw. Had we not had shows booked, we would have seen it again. But we at least got to see them perform at the Tonys when we went. A brilliant little show.
Just give the world Love.
