Nine Out Of Ten For 'Nine'.
Not e reviews I was expecting.
I loved the movie but reaaly thought that the critics would rip it to shreds.
They all have a few bad comments but on the whole they are better than the producers probably hoped for.

I think the reviews worldwide fort this film have been pretty bad. Its Rotten Tomatoe rating that compiles all the reviews have it obly 47 percent positive. I think its oscar chances have gone out of the window

It had a good weekend in the UK as well. It took just under 45,000 from one cinema, which is a fantastic result

I saw it last week at a screening at the crack of dawn with about 5 bored critics in it. I enjoyed it more than i thought i would. I didnt feel like a musical at all. Seeing Be Italian in all it's glory was just breathtaking. I'm glad they took out most of the score as well.

The scene of his wife watching the screen test was heartbreaking. The weekend figures bode well for it's wide release on Boxing Day.

Talking to a friend at Entertainment Films last week there is quite a lot of footage that ended up on the cutting room floor, which is why everything was delivered late. They were editing right up until the last minute. Apparently the final print didn't arrive until a couple of days before the UK premiere. Thats usually unheard of. Wonder if we'll see any of the deleted scenes on the DVD.
