Lots of plays, new and revivals coming up in the next couple of montsh. Which one are you most looking forward to?

Breakfast at Tiffany's
Rise and Fall of Little Voice
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Shawshank Redemption
Prick Up Your Ears
Endgame
Speaking in Tongues
An Inspector Calls
Othello

For me it has to be Shawshank Redemption. I love the film and am very curious how it will adapt to stage!

WHA! Wow! Its like one of my favourites ever. I guess it will allow you to go into the stage show with a more open mind.

Cat, Shawshank, Inspector Calls, and Othello. Although the only one on your list that I completely can't ever imagine myself going to is Breakfast at Tiffany's. As for the rest, we'll see how the ol' finances hold out.

I'm rather looking forward to Tony Kushner's translation of Mother Courage at the National, along with Inspector and Cat.

I'll probably see Breakfast for the sake of it, but I'm with Exey on Mother Courage as something actually worthwhile.

Im still waiting for my Entry Pass for the national. They have "delays" because of the high demand for it. If ur gonna offer something atleast make it so you can do it quicker than 2 months!

Ohhh, NT things as well? I want to see Mother Courage, Pains of Youth, Habit of Art, Nation, and I expect I'll have a bash at Our Class and The Power of Yes as well. I've not really enjoyed losing the Olivier to England People Very Nice over the summer, so it'll be nice to get back into regular NT trips again. :3

Although what I'm REALLY looking forward to that hasn't been mentioned yet is Inherit the Wind at the Old Vic. It's a cracking script that simply jumps off the page (with some brilliant stage directions *makes a note*) and I can't wait to see it live and on a stage in front of me. :3

Prick Up Your Ears and possibly Othello are the only ones that really appeal. I like an Inspector Calls too but not sure whether I would want to see it again.

I hate the movie of Shawshank. I could never figure out how they took a great little SHORT story by Stephen King and turned it into this lumbering, never-ending, epic of an inconsequential movie. (Mind you, the same director did exactly the same thing with The Green Mile so he obviously didn't have anyone to tell him that enough was enough on either project).

For the record I'm most looking forward to 'Prick Up Your Ears' and 'Othello' and you missed out 'Annie Get Your Gun' (tickets booked) and 'Little Voice'.

Cant say this season of plays is that appealing to me. Shawshank I only recently saw on film, brilliant film but I just cant see how it would benefit from being on stage (same with Breakfast at Tiffanys)

Will probably see Speaking in Tongues, but mainly because I know someone involved. Annie Get Your Gun has a great cast and ive never seen it before so will try and make that. Love Tennessee Williams so will try and see Cat on a HOt Tin Roof to

Is it me or is it kind of telling that Little Voice is opening in less than six weeks and I have yet to see any kind of poster or advert for it?
