I don't, because theatre just feels like an activity that you're supposed to share with a friend or family member. While I wouldn't be opposed to a solo trip in the future, I can't see it as being preferable.

Oh dear, am I supposed to be ashamed of going to the theater alone? I’ve been a regular solo theatergoer for 20+ years (circumstances have made it the only way.) I suppose I’m an “old dear” now. And you know, I see lots of people glued to their phones when they could be speaking with their friends, so if I was ever self-conscious about sitting alone in the past I’m not anymore.

At this stage in my life i find the experience of seeing a show by myself more rewarding...don't get me wrong i enjoy a companion but i too would be too concerned whether they were enjoying themselves...when i travel to London to see shows i am alone...but being in a packed theatre and seeing FOLLIES last year i never felt alone as the audience as one loved that production...i have found when i have attended the theatre with a small group of friends or work pals to be a lot of fun as well...no matter how many people or none,  i find the communal experience of seeing live theatre very exciting...

I go all the time by myself.  It is just easier in and out with no one to deal with!

Didn't you refer to 'we' in another thread?--me thinks you tell little fibbies.
