Three Sixty Entertainment Ltd Named Startup Business of the Year at the 2009 Startups Awards

Three Sixty Entertainment Ltd, which produces re-imagined children's classics performed in iconic tents, was announced the Startups Business of the Year at the 2009 Startups Awards.

The awards ceremony, organised by startups.co.uk took place today at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. The prestigious awards celebrated the UK's most outstanding new businesses and the people running them.

Three Sixty Entertainment Ltd won The category Innovative Business of the Year, and went on to beat 12 other category winners to take home £5,000 prize money and win the much coveted title: Startups Business of the Year!

Three Sixty Entertainment Ltd, build iconic entertainment properties by re-imagining classic children's' texts for an adult (and family) audience. In the same way that Cirque du Soleil did for modern circus, Three Sixty Entertainment aim to build a landmark international brand recreating children's Classics.
Their productions, launched in London in colossal, purpose built tent pavilions are proving amazing success. Their first show "Peter Pan" in Kensington Gardens has already sold coming up for 200,000 tickets and is now one of the best-selling shows in London, jostling for pole-position with the likes of Mama Mia!

The winner of each category was chosen by top judges, including Doug Richard, founder of School for Startups and Margaret Manning, CEO of Reading Room. The successful businesses and the talented people behind them proved their brilliance after fighting off competition from hundreds of entries.
