Get a first look below at Miranda Theatre Company's production of Williston starring MCC Artistic Director Robert LuPone, Kate Grimes and Drew Ledbetter.

It's 2013 and the US domestic energy boom is in full swing. Two veteran oil reps for a small Midwestern energy company come to Williston, North Dakota to score drilling rights to valuable land. But when a young upstart shows up to help close the deal, it becomes apparent that their quest for progress might lead to irrevocable damage to everyone at stake, including the land itself.

The Miranda Theatre Company is a not for profit organization dedicated to the development and production of new plays that offer hope, while they explore the challenges that face us both as individuals and as member of the global community. With this kind of work, we believe that theatre has the power to transform and inspire audiences to work for a future that embraces positive change. Since its founding in 1989, Artistic and Producing Director, Valentina Fratti, has led Miranda in the development and presentation of full productions, 3 Women's One Act Festival, workshops in The Moonshine Series, commissions and readings. The company has presented both world and New York premieres by writers like Adam Bock, Cusi Cram, Jeff Daniels, and Israel Horovitz and has been honored to work with such artists as, Mary Testa, Mary Louise Burke, Geneva Carr, Robert Cuccioli, Celeste Holm, and Matt Lenz.
