The LEXington Theatre Company opened A Chorus Line on August 2, wrapping up their fourth season of combining "Today's Broadway Stars and Tomorrow's Broadway Hopefuls" in Lexington, Kentucky.

Leading A Chorus Line are Sarah Bowden (A Chorus Line at The Hollywood Bowl, European Companies of Cabaret, West Side Story, 9 to 5, Flashdance, Kiss me Kate and more) as Cassie and Denis Lambert (Broadway's A Chorus Line, Doctor Zhivago; Bert in Mary Poppins at The LEX) as Zach. They will be joined by Broadway Vets Anne Horak (Chicago, White Christmas) as Sheila, and Eloise Kropp (Cats, Dames at Sea, On The Town) as Val. Kendyl Ito (Matilda First National Tour) joins as Connie.

Fulfilling the mission of The LEX, many college students and recent grads from top programs across the country join the line including Elle Brooks (Judy), Brian Corkum (Mike), James Spencer Dean (Bobby) Bailee Endebrock (Maggie), Gabriella Enriquez (Diana), Nathan Fister (Larry), Peter Garza (Paul), Laura Guley (Bebe), Jacob Major (Don), Trevor McChristian (Al), Elizabeth McGuire (Kristine), Ben Toomer (Richie) and Daxx Jayroe Weiser (Greg), and Ethan Zeph (Mark). They are joined by Emilia Bustle (Tricia), Miller Kraps (Frank), Ashley Martin (Vicki), Trey Paris (Roy), Darian Sanders (Butch), and John Eric Viso (Tom). Central Kentucky High School students Caroline Capello, Savannah Cooper, Sophia Cooper and Anna Midden are Performing Apprentices.

The LEX Artistic Director Lyndy Franklin Smith directs the production, and has restaged the original Broadway choreography, by Michael Bennett. She made her Broadway debut in the 2006 Original Revival Cast of A Chorus Line, and served as the Dance Captain. The LEX Resident Music Director, Brock Terry, music directs and leads the 17-piece orchestra.

The Creative Team also includes Tanya Harper (Lighting Designer), Joseph D. Sibley, (Costume and Hair Coordinator), Marcus Ross (Sound Designer), Kevin Nedberg (Production Coordinator), and Lisa Hardin (Props Coordinator). Emily F. McMullen and Brandon T. Holmes return as to round out the Equity Stage Management team. Kathrin Thawley is the Assistant Music Director, and Michael Rintamaa is the Rehearsal Accompanist.

A Chorus Line plays The Lexington Opera House August 2-5. It is presented by Variety Live at the Opera House, with Co-Producing Sponsor, KentuckyOne Health; Media Sponsor WKYT-Channel 27; and Sponsors Central Bank, Willis Music and MCF Advisors. Additional grant/subsidy support is from the Opera House Fund, The Lexington Rotary Club, and LexArts.
