When her carefully designed plans collide at the intersection of chance and choice, Elizabeth's life splits into two parallel paths. As we follow both stories simultaneously, the possibilities of tomorrow paint a deeply moving portrait of the lives that we lead, as well as the lives that we might have led.

"The best part of Choose Your Own Adventure Books for me was the ability to start anew. It's why I have a reset button tattoo, and why I believe that everything happens for a reason. There are no wrong paths - bad choices, maybe - but not right or wrong. Just different.

There's something particularly satisfying in telling good stories. And when the story resonates personally (at least in theory) it's even more satisfying. The overarching theme of If/Then - that of the "but what about..." - is universal.

So...here it is: a musical about the What If.

At the top of the show, we meet Elizabeth, a woman who admittedly "gets lost in the what might be." Then, the narrative splits, and we watch Elizabeth live out two stories simultaneously: one as Liz (she's the one is glasses) and one as Beth. Is it gimmicky? Absolutely. At times hard to follow? Yup.

And yet, from the gorgeous lights and set design to the beautifully orchestrated music and sound design to the perfectly contemporary costumes and movement, the canvas for creating Elizabeth's two paths is stunning. Then, this ridiculously talented cast - aided by a gifted crew - breathes life into the story (or stories). For everything you see on stage, there are two (or three or seven) things happening offstage to make it work. Which is basically a metaphor for life.

I am so appreciative of the opportunity to tell this story (or stories) with this group of creative folks at this time. Thank you for choosing this experience with us." -Molly Cox, Director
