Nearly 700 people enjoyed a wonderful evening of poetry, art and music as students who are blind or visually impaired from Lighthouse Guild's Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School performed in concert at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday, April 28.

The event was a celebration of a 20-year collaboration to expand accessibility to the arts for people of all ages who have vision loss. The concert, inspired by works in the Museum's collection, featured adult and youth musicians who are blind or visually impaired in solo, instrumental and ensemble performance.

The actress Michelle Hurst, of the hit show "Orange Is the New Black," described the art that was projected behind and above the performers.
