Get ready for a non-stop musical blast from the past as the Castle Craig Players present THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES for two weeks only - May 5-14 - at their intimate Meriden venue. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

This smash Off-Broadway musical hit, written & created by Roger Bean, takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy - four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! Featuring over 30 iconic '50s and '60s tunes, including "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Mister Sandman, and "Lipstick on Your Collar," THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

The cast features local favorites Jessica Engster (Betty Jean), Jennifer Del Sole (Cindy Lou), Emma Czaplinski (Missy) and Chelsea Dacey (Suzy). The production is directed by Ian Galligan, with music direction by Mark Ceppetelli, choreography by original Wonderette cast member Bets Malone, with additional choreography by Chelsea Dacey, costume design by Daniel Schmidt, wig design by Joel Silvesti, lighting design by Dusty Radar and stage management by Pamela Amodio.

THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES runs for seven performances only - May 5-14 (Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm, with a special Thursday performance on May 11 at 7:30pm) at The Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse, 59 West Main Street, Meriden, CT. Presented Cabaret Style with table seating, patrons are invited to bring their own dinner, drinks and snacks to enjoy!

Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Seniors (65+). Seating is extremely limited - so patrons are encouraged to buy in advance! Tickets may be purchased online at www.CastleCraig.org or over the phone by calling toll-free 1-800-838-3006.
