Husband and Wife team Jill Abramovitz (Book and Lyrics) and Brad Alexander (Music) bring their new musical BREAD AND ROSES to the New York Music Festival. The developmental reading is July 22nd at 416 W 42nd St, Playwrights Horizons Rehearsal Studios.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, this compelling new musical tells the story of a young Mexican woman's effort to unionize workers in Los Angeles.
