The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce celebrated Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, the creators of the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots, with the 2,577th and 2,578th stars, respectively, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the historic Pantages Theatre today, April 11, 2016. Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler emceed, and unveiling the star were guest speakers Sharon Osbourne on behalf of Lauper, and Marissa Jaret Winokur on behalf of Fierstein. KINKY BOOTS producer Hal Luftig and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell were also on hand to celebrate. Check out photos below!

Lauper's star is dedicated in the category of Recording, and Fierstein's star is dedicated in the category of Live Performance. Fans were also treated with a special performance by Tiffany Engen, who plays 'Lauren' in the touring company of Kinky Boots, which returns to the Pantages Theatre April 13 - April 24, 2016.

Kinky Boots, led by producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical and is now in its 4th smash year on Broadway. The show is also playing hit productions in London's West End, Toronto, with upcoming productions announced for Australia, Japan, Korea and more.

KINKY BOOTS tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Bootsfeatures a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony Award- winner Jerry Mitchell. The Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots is available on Sony Masterworks Broadway.
