While embarking on their quest for the Holy Grail, the Knights encounter flying cows, killer rabbits, and taunting Frenchmen while performing heart-stopping musical numbers.

The Rudolf Nureyev State Ballet Theatre will be bringing the magic of The Sleeping Beauty to The Mahaffey Theater in 2014! The well-loved fairy tale ballet, set to the music of Tchaikovsky, is choreographed by Marius Petipa. The ballet theatre, the youngest among Russian theatres, comes from the childhood home of Rudolf Nureyev, considered among the greatest of dancers of the 20th century. The Dance Company maintains traditions of spirituality of dance, dramatic effect and the depth of image penetration, combination of technical skills and emotionality of performing. Leonora Kuvatova became Artistic Director of The Rudolf Nureyev State Ballet Ballet Theatre in 2009.
