Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance offers a diverse range of degrees allowing our students to find a program suited to their skills and interests. Our B.F.A. programs are led by acclaimed professionals including Kaitlin Hopkins (Head of Musical Theatre), Michael Costello (Head of Acting) and Michelle Ney (Head of Design & Technology). With a $1000 scholarship, out-of-state students qualify for in-state tuition (approximately $4000/semester). We are proud of the accomplishments of our faculty, students, and alumni. Our web pages contain information about our degree programs, opportunities for performance, guest artists, special events and production photos. Reed, Executive Director of the Plano Symphony Orchestra, announced today that, at the PSO Annual Meeting held on June 6, 2021, the Board unanimously elected Marion Brockette as President as well as approved the returning and new board members and a new slate of officers.
