Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts

With Regent's Bachelor of Arts in Theatre program, you will learn the craft of theatre arts in our state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center equipped with three performance spaces. Through a combination of historical, theoretical and practical training, you will be given the opportunity to explore several disciplines associated with the amateur, professional, and academic theatres — all from a Christian worldview. Our experienced faculty will help you to become a well-rounded theatre artist with coursework in acting, directing, voice, design, stagecraft, theatre history, text analysis and makeup. Additionally, you will develop skill in public speaking and vocal production; gain physical awareness, grace, agility, and poise; learn to communicate through story; and be equipped to reflect on the human condition on a deeper level. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to begin a career in theatre or to continue your training at the graduate-level.
