IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR-A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra is on stage at the Manatee Players on June 30 & July 1. Performances are at 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 including facility fee for adults and $10 including facility fee for students. Tickets may be reserved by calling (941)748-5875 Monday – Friday from 9-5 or on the Manatee Players' website: www.manateeplayers.com. All performances are at 102 Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR is a multi-media musical journey about the life and times of the late Frank Sinatra starring Tony Sands as "The Voice", singing all his best loved songs. It looks at the early days with Tommy Dorsey to the bright lights of New York City and the silver screen of Hollywood, leading up to the "Main Event" comeback.

About Tony Sands

For more than 20 years, Tony Sands has been perfecting his act and performing all across the United States as Frank Sinatra.

Tony Sands has appeared at the Tropicana Casino and Resort Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He has appeared in the Rat Pack Show at Harrah's Hotel and Casino. His renditions of the "Chairman of the Board's" song stylings have caught the eye of the entertainment community and audiences from around the country.

Tony's resume includes many television appearances throughout the east coast as well as his portrayal of "The Legend" in a Rat Pack style revue. Tony captivates his audiences with the mannerisms of Sinatra.

In his new show, "It Was A Very Good Year", Tony is portraying Frank from a young man through to his comeback show, the "Main Event".
