TRASH MACBETH
ERA
4/20-5/7/2016
Lady Macbeth says, “What's done cannot be undone.” But can it berepurposed? Based on Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy, ERA's experimental production Trash Macbeth resuscitates meaning within a climate of destruction, reestablishes the societal norms of America’s most traditional era, and reframes the value of our revered Shakespeare, housewifery, and garbage. Trash Macbeth is a full-length, theatrical production created by an ensemble of theatre artists with text from Shakespeare's Macbeth, Emily Post's Etiquette, the book of Revelations, Dr Benjamin Spock's Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care, Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and 1950's era advertisements. We cordially invite you to the Macbeth’s residence for the dinner party of your life. April 20-21, April 27-May1, May 4-7 | 8 p.m. | The Chapel, 6238 Alexander Dr, St Louis, MO Tickets at artful.ly/era

A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by Jack O'Brien, will tour North America beginning September 2015. "We plan to look more closely at this remarkable work — to tear off the varnish of the past and reveal one of the great, fresh glories of musical theater," says three-time Tony Award winning Director Jack O'Brien. Audiences across America will be among the first to see this all new production! THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by "The Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp.
