This summer Broadway World went on the road to catch some amazing entertainment, and one of the stops was at the Santa Fe Playhouse.

The first London productions in more than 100 years of MAKESHIFTS AND REALITIES has revealed its cast at the Finborough Theatre. A triple bill of Makeshifts and Realities by Gertrude Robins, and Honour Thy Father by H. M. Harwood.

During the Roaring 1920s until its closing on July 27, 1959, West Hollywood’s landmark Garden of Allah Hotel on Sunset Blvd. hosted the Hollywood elite looking to have a great time socializing and mingling without the prying eyes of the media or autograph seekers in their faces, or their beds for that matter. I decided to speak with Romy Nordlinger, the playwright and performer of Garden of Alla in which she shares the life of Alla Nazimova, a Jewish immigrant from Tsarist Russia who became a Broadway and silent film superstar, visionary Hollywood director and producer, LGBTQIA trailblazer, and creator of the hotel which became world famous on many levels, both famous and infamous.

TV dancing sensation and international champion Johannes Radebe has announced the dancers joining him in his brand-new production Johannes Radebe: Freedom Unleashed, which will open on 31 March and run through to 28 May 2023, performing across the UK with a week-long run at London's Peacock Theatre from 4 – 8 April 2023.

In a working partnership approaching three decades, composer Stewart Copeland and librettist Jonathan Moore bring their latest opera 'Electric Saint' to Kunstfest Weimar in September of 2020. The project is a co-commission of the innovative Kunstfest alongside Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar (DNT). Emerging theatre company Get Out Of My Space, in collaboration with Theatre with Teeth, will be taking over Exeter's historic Poltimore House with new production Umbra, an immersive theatrical experience inspired by Woyzeck, Christian Shaw and the Peaky Blinders opening this May. Stepping inside the crumbling hallways of Poltimore House, audiences will be taken back to 1919 and immersed in a dark world of drinking, religion and organised crime as twisted demonic forces gradually worm their way into the minds of its inhabitants.
