Disney's Beauty and the Beast Photos - US Tour

Since the world premiere of Vietgone in 2015, Qui Nguyen has become one of the most lauded and sought-after contemporary American playwrights, as well as being a writer for Marvel and Disney. The world premiere of REVENGE SONG, his new rousing, romping, music-filled look at the real life of Julie d'Aubigny, a queer 17th century French swordswoman and opera singer, offers an exciting, entertaining, and rollicking theatrical experience, ingeniously directed by Robert Ross Parker that is sure to please rowdy fans of The Rocky Horror Picture Show during the heroine's interactive journey toward self-discovery and acceptance. Adding to the fun are satirical references to more musicals than I could count, including Hamilton, Cabaret, Company, Avenue Q, Beauty and the Beast, and Bye Bye Birdie.

A bright and brand new production for STAGES St. Louis, Dolly Parton's smash hit 9 to 5, The Musical makes its STAGES debut at the Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood. Join three female coworkers in the Rolodex era as they explore friendship and revenge. You will laugh, cry, and ultimately cheer their exploits as they discover the joys of working 9 to 5. This show will run from July 21st through August 20th.

The Ogunquit Playhouse kicks off its 85th Anniversary Season with the international smash hit Mamma Mia!, dazzling audiences on stage from May 17 to July 1.

The 2016 Music Circus season concludes with the Northern California premiere of a new musical from the mind of Victor Hugo, inspired by one of the most epic stories ever told: The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This daring production sets the classic tale of love, vengeance, and compassion to one of the most sweeping scores ever written for the stage. The Palace Theater, Wisconsin Dells' newest professional theater, 564 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy South, gifts audiences this holiday season by bringing to the stage the world's most beloved nanny, Disney's MARY POPPINS previewing November 19, opening Monday, November 24 at 7 p.m., and running through January 3, 2015. The all-star cast is led by Jessica Lorion Haugh (National Tour of Disney's Beauty & the Beast) who will fly through the air as 'Mary Poppins,' Kyle Szen (National Tour of A Christmas Carol) as 'Bert,' Eddie Urish (National Broadway Tour of Memphis the Musical) as 'George Banks,' and Rebecca Kostell as 'Winifred Banks.' MARY POPPINS is directed and choreographed by Multi Jeff Award-winner Marc Robin and co-directed by Buddy Reeder. Nationally known stand-up comedian and actor, Tom Dreesen, long time guest of The Tonight Show and The David Letterman Show will serve as the emcee at the opening night performance on November 24.

The romantic and richly textured tale of East versus West, THE KING AND I, is now playing at The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL., where it opened on October 29, and will run through January 4, 2015. Nick Bowling (Juno and The Normal Heart at Timeline Theatre) makes his Marriott Theatre directorial debut with a fresh take on this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, merging history and romance with today's social and political issues. THE KING AND I takes audiences on an uplifting journey of the power of education as characters transform from instructor to students themselves, learning from one another in the process. In consultation with the Thai Cultural and Fine Arts Institute of Chicago, Bowling and Choreographer Tommy Rapley will explore ancient Siamese customs, dance and traditions, and bring them to life on stage.
