Everybody say yeah! Staring last night, February 2, Grammy Award-winner Kirstin Maldonado, of the hit acapella group Pentatonix, made her Broadway debut as 'Lauren' in Kinky Boots on Broadway. Maldonado will remain in the production for a limited run through Sunday, April 8, 2018. Check out photos from Kirstin's first bows below!

Everybody say yeah! The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots recently welcomed new cast members to the Al Hirschfeld stage. Scissor Sisters front-man Jake Shears now stars as Charlie Price and J. Harrison Ghee as Lola. Pentatonix star Kirstin Maldonado officially joins the cast as Lauren beginning tonight, February 2, 2018. Check out a first look at the new cast in action below!

Just yesterday, Tony Award winner Billy Porter (whose recent studio album: Billy Porter Presents The Soul of Richard Rodgers debuted at #2 on the iTunes R&B charts) and Tony Award nominee Stark Sands (who appears alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in Spielberg's upcoming The Papers) officially returned to Kinky Boots, reprising the roles they created as Lola and Charlie, respectively, through January 7, 2018.

Four years ago, KINKY BOOTS raised us up for the first time at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, marking the beginning of a historic Broadway run. Last night the award-winning musical celebrated the milestone and BroadwayWorld was there for the celebration!

Just last night, Cyndi Lauper was on hand to welcome the audience to TDF's one-night-only concert fundraiser, TDF HONORS Kinky Boots. The show featured the entire current Broadway cast and former cast members of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical. Original stars, Billy Porter ('Lola'), Annaleigh Ashford ('Lauren') and Stark Sands ('Charlie').

Earlier this month, Broadway's high-heeled hit, Kinky Boots, which opened on April 4, 2013 and has played more than 1500 performances, surpassed Evita to become the 50th longest-running Broadway show of all time. That's not all the show has to celebrate. Taylor Louderman (Lauren), Killian Donnelly (Charlie)  and Todrick Hall (Lola) have joined the cast in recent weeks and you can check out a first look at the new gang in action below!

Just last night, Todrick Hall officially joined the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical, where he remains through March 5, 2017. Hall, an internationally known YouTube personality and Broadway actor who just finished a sold-out national tour of his show Straight Outta Oz, succeeds the Award-winning Alan Mingo, Jr. in Kinky Boots, now in its 4th smash year at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street).

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Todrick Hall will join the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning tomorrow, November 1, 2016 through March 5, 2017.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce celebrated Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, the creators of the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots, with the 2,577th and 2,578th stars, respectively, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the historic Pantages Theatre today, April 11, 2016. Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler emceed, and unveiling the star were guest speakers Sharon Osbourne on behalf of Lauper, and Marissa Jaret Winokur on behalf of Fierstein. KINKY BOOTS producer Hal Luftig and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell were also on hand to celebrate. Earlier this week, the hit musical Kinky Boots celebrated its three-year anniversary on Broadway, making it the longest running show to ever play the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), a record previously held by the original production of The Man of La Mancha.

Billy Porter, who has played over 800 performances in the role of 'Lola' and won both a Tony Award and a Grammy Award for his work in Broadway's KINKY BOOTS, took the stage in his final historic performance last night, November 20, 2015. Just yesterday, Tony Award-winner Billy Porter joined hundreds of hopefuls outside of the Hirschfeld Theatre in their most fabulous red footwear to celebrate the show's 1000th performance. To pay homage to the show's now-iconic red boots, the first 50 people in line at the Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St) wearing red shoes received a free pair of tickets, plus the three most fabulous pairs of footwear, and winners (as chosen by Porter) got to join the cast backstage after the evening performance. Later that night the cast gathered on stage to celebrate with a toast and custom Kinky Boots cupcakes provided by Baked by Melissa. Broadway In Chicago is currently presenting Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), returns to Chicago for a limited two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) through July 26, 2015. The 2013 Tony® Award-winning Best Musical Kinky Boots opened at the Providence Performing Arts Center last night, where recent Jeopardy! winner Choyon Manjrekar, a Providence, RI City Planner, caught up with Kinky Boots producer Hal Luftig and cast from the national tour of Kinky Boots. Tom Viola, Executive Director of BC/EFA, recently joined the cast of KINKY BOOTS in presenting Cyndi Lauper with a "big check" representing the $150,000 donated to TRUE COLORS FUND by BC/EFA from over $1.2 million in resources raised by the show since opening in April 2013. Scroll down for photos!
