Second Stage Theatre's production of Terrence McNally's play, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, directed by Peter DuBois, officially opened last night, October 29, 2014. The production features Michael Chernus(Obie Award winner for In the Wake), Tracee Chimo (Lortel Award winner for Bad Jews, 2ST Uptown's Bachelorette), America Ferrera(Emmy Award winner for 'Ugly Betty') andAustin Lysy (2ST's The Water's Edge). Currently celebrating its 35th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) will soon present TERRENCE McNALLY's play, LIPS TOGETHER, TEETH APART. Shattered Globe Theatre continues its 2012/13 Season with the Chicago premiere of the dark British comedy HAPPY NOW? by Lucinda Coxon, directed by Artistic Director Roger Smart, playing now through March 2, 2013 at Stage 773, 1225 W. The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Some Lovers, a new musical with book and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner Steven Sater and music by Academy and Grammy Award-winning legend Burt Bacharach. Directed by Will Frears with music supervision by Lon Hoyt and choreography by Denis Jones, Some Lovers will run Nov. 26 - Dec. 31 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Nov. 26 - Dec. 6. Opening night is Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org, by phone at (619) 23-GLOBE or by visiting the Box Office at 1363 Old Globe Way in Balboa Park.

Previews are now underway at Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) for the New York premiere of Our House, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (The Butterfly Collection and Bad Dates at Playwrights Horizons, Broadway's Mauritius, co-author of Omnium Gatherum). A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis will produce the Indiana premiere of Theresa Rebeck's mystery drama Mauritius in its Frank & Katrina Basile Theatre March 5 through April 4, 2009. Rebeck has had numerous productions of plays such as Spike Heels, Bad Dates, and The Family of Mann Off-Broadway, but Mauritius was her first play to be produced on Broadway (by Manhattan Theatre Club, in 2007.)
