Broadway ladies united last weekend for the world premiere of Award-winning composer Carmel Dean's Well-Behaved Women. The cast included: LaChanze, Liz Callaway, Natascia Diaz, Melissa Rose Hirsh, Bonnie Milligan, Katie Thompson, Kuhoo Verma, Sasha Allen, Andréa Burns,Hannah Elless and Barbara Walsh.

The Tom Kitt Band will soon make its Feinstein's/54 Below debut, playing February 9 and 11. The Tony-winning frontman writes:

AMERICAN IDIOT was recorded as a 'punk rock opera' and won a Grammy in 2005 before it was adapted into an award-winning Broadway musical in 2009. Previews were Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24 at 7:30pm. Opening is Saturday, June 25 at 7:30, and this limited run engagement of ten performances continues through Saturday, July 23. One might expect the Pittsburgh audience who filled Heinz Hall on the opening night of the punk rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT to be predominantly young, hip and edgy Green Day fans. Not so. Even a few pre-teens were present, albiet inappropriately so, as AMERICAN IDIOT's subject matter is extensively peppered with foul language, on stage sex, underwear brandishing young men and women, and unfettered drug use.
