World-renowned watchmaker Audemars Piguet partnered with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and the Tony Awards today, to host more than 1,000 underserved New York City Public School Students at their very first Broadway show. Through 'Inspire Change,' an initiative launched by the producers of Memphis, students from 11 public schools throughout the 5 boroughs of Manhattan enjoyed this special performance of Memphis in addition to in-school workshops and a 'talk-back' with the cast and producers of the show and representatives from the Tony Awards.

The cast of Broadway's Tony Award winning Best Musical MEMPHIS performed 'Steal Your Rock ‘n' Roll' live on ABC's 'Good Morning America' on Friday, January 28th. Critically acclaimed MEMPHIS won four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score (David Bryan and Joe DiPietro), Best Book (Joe DiPietro), and Best Orchestrations (David Bryan and Daryl Waters).

Last night, September 23, the stars of Memphis were honored with a Wall of Fame painting at Tony di Napoli's restaurant to kick off the new Broadway season and celebrate the cast's one year anniversary on Broadway. The painting was created by Dan May. Valerie Smaldone produced and emceed the event, which was hosted by Tony di Napoli's Bruce Dimpflmaier.

Last night, May 23, the Drama Desk Association hosted the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the celebrated new musical MEMPHIS will be available for purchase exclusively at the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street) and online at www.memphisthemusical.com beginning Friday, December 11th. This special edition will feature a bonus track of "Memphis Lives in Me" performed by composer and Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan. The cast of MEMPHIS recorded the album at Avatar Studios on Monday, November 16, 2009. The recording is produced by Delray Records and nationwide distribution details will be available shortly.

To commemorate the Shubert Theatre Box Office opening for the new Broadway musical MEMPHIS there was festive special performances by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan, the Cast of MEMPHIS, and VH1 Save the Music Foundation student keyboard ensemble from Jersey City's MS 41. on Wednesday, August 26th at 12pm in Shubert Alley.
