Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman - the critically-acclaimed new play recently named to an industry-leading 25 Best-Of-The-Year lists - will welcome many new cast members beginning Tuesday, February 19, with Brian d'Arcy James leading as Quinn Carney.

Written by internationally-acclaimed playwright Athol Fugard and directed by Obie Award winner Timothy Near, this inventive revival will feature a star-studded cast of regional theatre's finest actors. A Lesson From Aloes will be presented June 3 - 29, 2018 (press opening: Thursday, June 7, 2018) with performances 7:30pm Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2pm Sundays at Z Below, 470 Florida Street, San Francisco. It's been over a week since the world lost entertainment legend Robin Williams, who passed away last Monday. The beloved actor and comedian was 63 years old. Below, BroadwayWorld remembers Robin.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will produce, in association with La Jolla Playhouse, a re-imagining of Henry Krieger and Bill Russell's Side Show. Directed by Academy Award winning director Bill Condon, the musical will play at La Jolla Playhouse now through December 17 and will open at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater in spring 2014. The musical features book and lyrics by Bill Russell and music by Henry Krieger who will revise the show before its debut at La Jolla. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

With its national reputation, the School of Theatre at Florida State premieres its theatrical season with Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize-winning Crimes of the Heart directed by MFA Directing candidate Matt Silva. This production will run from October 5-14 in the Lab Theatre, on Copeland Street between St. Augustine and Lafayette Streets.

On July 8, The Sherman Playhouse is proud to present, THE SUPPORTING CAST, an uproarious comedy by George Furth. The show opens at 8 p.m. for a four-week run.

Performance Network Theatre announces its production of 'It Came From Mars' by local playwright, Joseph Zettelmaier, running through March 21, 2010.

Italy's Dario D'Ambrosi, a radical innovator of the theater and founder of the movement called Teatro Patologico (Pathological Theater), will stage a novel version of 'Romeo and Juliet' at La MaMa December 3 to 13. His interpretation is meant to contrast the marvel of love with the fragility of life, the shock of the moment of total loss, and what he calls a 'schizophrenia of the world.'
