What did our critic think of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD at Desert Theatreworks?
Aaron Sorkin’s 2018 stage re-imagination of the classic Harper Lee novel “To Kill A Mockingbird” opened Tuesday at the Kansas City Music Hall for a one week run. It is one of the finest touring companies of any play I’ve been privileged to witness in many years. “Mockingbird” stars well-known actor Richard Thomas in a stellar turn as the lead character of Atticus Finch.
The 2024 HAYES season will deliver joy, delight, surprises, heartfelt emotions, intriguing ideas, and distinct and remarkable experiences.

What did our critic think of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at Burlington County Footlighters?
What did LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is the kind of show that many love to hate while others love it. The topics of abuse and drug use, which are not in the wheelhouse of musicals, sometimes turn people off, as does the phy-sci-centered plot. The GLT production is as good as you are going to get. It solidly hits all the comic and horror notes. It’s a must see for the script’s fans!
our critic think of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at Great Lakes Theater?
I have visited Laguna Beach for several consecutive summers, enjoying the vibrant arts scene by spending a full day wandering through THE SAWDUST FESTIVAL, THE LAGUNA ART A-FAIR, FESTIVAL OF ARTS and PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS, with all sites, including the Laguna Playhouse, within walking distance of each on the main street into the city. The beautiful coastal city has so much to offer in the way of fine dining, art galleries, shopping, theatre, beach activities, all accessible via a free shuttle service, it would easily make for a wonderful week-long family vacation site or a jam-packed day of celebrating the arts.

Audiences will be transformed back to 1965 when they enter the venue to the back room of The Never Get. Featuring a sultry score fashioned after the American Songbook, 'Midnight at The Never Get' imagines two men who never existed at a time that very much did.
The era of the happy musical - with a little romance, big production numbers and catchy show tunes - is featured as Theatre in the Park's next summer production, 'THE DROWSY CHAPERONE'.

'the boys: the sherman brothers' story' is an intimate journey through the lives of Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, the astoundingly prolific, Academy Award-winning songwriting team that defined family musical entertainment for five decades. The feature-length documentary, conceived, produced and directed by two of the songwriters' sons, takes audiences behind the scenes of the Hollywood magic factory and offers a rare glimpse of a unique creative process at work. It also explores a deep and longstanding rift that has kept the brothers personally estranged throughout much of their unparalleled professional partnership. BroadwayWorld is pleased to bring you some images from the film.
Daniel Goldfarb's comedy of Jewish singles has a terrific cast, swift direction and plenty of good laughs. Just try not to let the plot get in the way.
