Theatre at the Center's production of The Pajama Game had its opening night performance on Sunday, September 15 at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster.  Artistic Director Linda Fortunato cast Curtis Bannister as Sid, Elizabeth Telford as Babe, Cynthia Carter as Mabel, Kelly Felthous as Gladys, Jason Grimm as Hines, Dan Klarer as Prez, Rick Rapp as Pop and Steve Silver as Mr. Hasler in the musical comedy romance The Pajama Game.

Just last night, Transport Group presented a benefit concert of the classic 1954 Comden & Green/Charlap & Leigh musical, Peter Pan. The evening, which was hosted by drag legend, Tony-nominated playwright, and Golden Age aficionado Charles Busch (The Divine Sister, The Tale of The Allergist's Wife), featured a cast that includes three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello (Finding Neverland), Drama Desk nominee Rachel Bay Jones (Dear Evan Hansen), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Ann Harada (Cinderella), three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Hand to God), Tony nominee Tony Sheldon (Pricilla, Queen of the Desert), Paul Slade Smith (Finding Neverland), Drama Desk nominee Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), Betsy Morgan(First Daughter Suite), Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof), D.C. Anderson (Queen of the Mist), OBIE Winner David Greenspan (The Patsy, The Royal Family), Ivory McKay, Doug Shapiro (Once Upon a Mattress), Tim Dolan (Altar Boyz), Patrick Boll (Mamma Mia), Richard Costa (Once Upon a Mattress), Ruthie Ann Miles (The King and I, Here Lies Love) and Tony nominee Mary Testa (First Daughter Suite, Xanadu).

Clap your hands if you can believe it, the Tony Award-winning musical production 'Peter Pan' soars back to Moonlight Amphitheatre from July 20, 2016 to Aug. 6, 2016 at 8 p.m. The classic, family favorite production hit the Broadway stage in 1954 and has since been adapted for the movie screen several times for more than 60 years. The original Broadway production and revivals received nine Tony Award nominations with the most recent in 1999 for Best Revival of a Musical. CLYBOURNE PARK is a play worthy of producing and seeing in any city that claims to be as progressive and liberal as Austin. It's a couple hours worth of good theatre by a theatre company that consistently produces excellent work.  We can sit in the dark and laugh at ourselves and race relations and enjoy some theatre that is, by the way,suffering from gentrification itself.

The series Part 2, The Brothers Size and Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet, directed by Robert O'Hara, began previews on October 21. Part 1, In the red and Brown Water, hits the stage. Tina Landau directs. McCraney, one of America's most acclaimed young writers, returns to The Public to complete his trilogy following the success of The Brothers Size in 2007. Performances will run through December 13.

Friedman Theatre' on Thursday, September 4. The ceremony began at the theatre (261 West 47th Street at 8th Avenue) . MTC previously announced that it was renaming its Broadway home, until now known as the Biltmore Theatre, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in recognition of the pioneering Broadway publicist.
