Rubicon Theatre presents a timely and trenchant production of Shakespeare's tragedy KING LEAR as the centerpiece of the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Directed by Co-Founder James O'Neil, the production features a 20-member cast led by acclaimed actor and company member George Ball, who has starred in previous Rubicon productions of All My Sons, Man of La Mancha, and Jacques Brel… (New York, L.A., and international companies of the latter).

Atlantic Theater Company welcomes Olivier and two time Tony Awardwinning playwright John Guare will make his Off Broadway acting debut in the world premiere production of his new play 3 KINDS OF EXILE, directed by Atlantic artistic director Neil Pepe, featuring Atlantic ensemble members Peter Maloney and David Pittu and guest artists Alison Cimmet, Jeffrey Kuhn, Jacquelyn Landgraf, Martin Moran, Kate Rigg, Omar Sangare and Timothy Splain. 3 KINDS OF EXILE will officially open Tuesday, June 11 and play a limited engagement through Sunday, June 23 off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company Mainstage at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). The Gallery at Mercer County Community College announced the award winners for 'Mercer County Artists 2011' at an Opening Reception Mar. 9. The exhibit, which runs through April 7, features 120 works by 95 artists who live, work or study in Mercer County. The pieces were selected from 240 entries by this year's juror, Janet Hunt, the owner and director of Coryell Gallery, located in Lambertville. Hunt has been a key figure in the arts community of central New Jersey for decades.

The show will run through July 11. Created, directed, and hosted by Lucie Arnaz, BABALU's engagement at the Adrienne Arsht Center multiple Tony Award-nominee and Miami native Raúl Esparza, Broadway's Tony-nominated diva of dance Valarie Pettiford and in a rare, special guest appearance, Desi Arnaz, Jr. playing percussion on his father's classic hits.
