On Sunday, 2014 Tony nominees Brian J. Smith (The Glass Menagerie) and Adriane Lenox (After Midnight), as well as American-Idol alum and one of After Midnight's Special Guest Stars Fantasia Barrino visited QUEEN OF THE NIGHT. Queen of the Night recently was extended to run through August 31st. Fantasia even had a moment with The Marchesa herself (played by Martha Graham principle ballet dancer Katherine Crockett)!

Off-Broadway's hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER reopened this past Saturday night, October 19th at Times Square's newest theatre, The Screening Room Theater at Planet Hollywood. Previews began September 20th at this uniquely elegant new venue. Written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER originally began performances August 22, 2012 at Sofia's Downstairs Theater where the show played to packed houses over the past year. The writers & stars of the Off-Broadway hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER confronted last Thursday's heat wave head on by bringing free lemonade to thirsty New Yorkers in Central Park. Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle wound their way through the hot, humid park Thursday morning 5/30, distributing refreshing liquid reinforcements to locals and tourists (without discrimination!), making loads of new friends along the way. The stars of Off-Broadway's hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER performed live for THE RIDE on May 8th in Times Square. As the giant tour bus approached the Lyceum Theatre on 45th Street, it stopped in front of HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER's Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle clad in elderly garb on the sidewalk. To the delight of the passengers, they performed the opening sketch of the show in which two altkakas bitterly (and hilariously) complain about a bygone New York City before gentrification wiped out all the fun. Fudgetaboutit will be available exclusively at that location every Friday through the end of the month. Two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole returns to the legendary Caf? Carlyle for the first time since her critically acclaimed 2002 debut. She opened last night Tuesday, January 20, 2009 and BroadwayWorld was there to mix and mingle with the very starry crowd. The evening includes songs by Rodgers & Hart, Irving Berlin, Billy Joel and Fleetwood Mac - and even a little bit of opera. John Oddo (Musical Director) leads a quintet. Tony Award-winner Scott Wittman directs. The Caf? Carlyle is located in The Carlyle Hotel - 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue. The performance schedule is: Tuesday-Saturday at 8:45 PM with additional shows at 10:45 PM on Saturday, January 23rd, Friday, January 30th & Saturday January 31st. There will no performance on Tuesday, January 27th. There is a $50 music charge for the Tuesday-Thursday performances and a $65 music charge for the Friday and Saturday performances.
