Thirty Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto just revealed a shot of himself with the legendary Liza Minnelli on Instagram. Leto gives no indication of where or why the two crossed paths, but BWW is glad they did. Check out the duo below!

Last night, March 15, the stars came out to celebrate 64 years of Liza Minnelli, who turned 64 on March 12, 2010. Friends such as Parker Posey, Joel Grey and Billy Stritch celebrated with a night of performances honoring Liza, one of theater's all-time greats. Minnelli herself took the stage at the end of the evening.

Stephanie J. Block, currently starring on Broadway in the role of Judy Bernly in 9 to 5: The Musical, made a triumphant return to Birdland to celebrate the release of her debut album, 'This Place I Know,' on Monday, July 13th at 7pm. The evening was part of the award-winning concert series Broadway at Birdland, presented by Jim Caruso's Cast Party.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents a new Broadway production of Hedda Gabler, starring Mary-Louise Parker, Michael Cerveris, Paul Sparks and Peter Stormare. Hedda Gabler, by Henrik Ibsen with a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn, is directed by Ian Rickson at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street). BroadwayWorld's camera caught the starry cast and crowd as they arrived for the after party for the new production! The cast also includes Lois Markle, Ana Reeder and Helen Carey. Hedda Gabler officially opened on Sunday, January 25th, 2009. This is a limited engagement through March 29th, 2009. On October 7, Liza Minnelli hosted the world premiere of 'Me, Eloise,' the first-ever animated series based on the classic 1950's book series written by Kay Thompson and illustrated by Hilary Knight, at Carnegie Hall

On October 21, 2005 the recently restored 'Liza with a Z' was shown at the East Hampton Film Festival. Following the screening, Scott Nevins interviewd the legendary Minnelli, along with movie musical producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan.
