In an unprecedented move, performance rights for SCHOOL OF ROCK are available for schools and youth theatres while the Broadway hit is only months old.

Though the home team lost a close one, the glimmering Broadway soprano got the evening started on a winning note.

SCHOOL OF ROCK star Alex Brightman and the Broadway cast sent an encouraging video to welcome the OSA students to the band and call upon the 'Gods of Rock' to guide them with their West Coast production. In turn, OSA recorded their own fun response. Check out the videos below!

It was an epic night at Broadway Sessions Thursday, February 11th, as cast members from School of Rock descended from the top of Mt. Rock (aka The Winter Garden Theater) and invaded the Laurie Beechman Theater. The kids in the band, and some adults, wielded their instruments like light sabers, slaying tune after tune.

Warner Bros. Records is set to release the Original Broadway Cast Recording for SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL on Friday, December 4, 2015, on the eve of opening night. The new album will feature a new score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, along with three songs from the immensely popular 2003 film. Three-time Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo, who has worked with Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Goo Goo Dolls, Phil Collins, and Gary Clark Jr., produced the album along with Lloyd Webber.
