Celebrating her 13th solo appearance at Carnegie Hall, pianist Katya Grineva presents an evening of romantic piano in memory of her mother, Irina Grineva. Reflecting on the elements of love, the program showcases works by several of the great romantic composers of the piano including Chopin, Schubert, Liszt, Ravel, Satie, Bloch, De Falla, Gurdjieff-De Hartmann and Rimsky-Korsakov. Lookingglass Theatre Company opened its 25th Anniversary Season with Metamorphoses, based on the Myths of Ovid, written and directed by Lookingglass Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman. The return of Lookingglass' seminal production, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the Broadway run, will open at Lookingglass in the fall of 2012 and will then move to Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage.
