Birbiglia, who is about to star on Broadway in 'The New One,' talks to Jimmy about living in Brooklyn and taking his show to Broadway. Birbliglia also brings up how Jimmy crying at the end of his show! Mike Birbiglia: The New One, (www.TheNewOne.com) a new comedy written and performed by Mike Birbiglia, has announced their student rush policy. Officially opening at the Cherry Lane Theatre, (38 Commerce Street) on August 2, producers will make up to 10 student rush tickets available for each performance, priced at $29 each. A valid student ID is required and rush tickets will go on sale 90 minutes before each performance. As Mike would like as many people as possible to have the opportunity to see his show, one ticket can be purchased per valid student ID, cash only.

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Marco Ramirez's ('Orange is the New Black,' 'Sons of Anarchy') wildly theatrical new play The Royale, directed by two-time Obie Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated Rachel Chavkin.
