The Off-Broadway League today announced the confirmed performers for the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. Additionally, the remaining tickets to the show have been released for sale to the public at a discounted rate of $35 each. The 27th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out this Sunday, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center, beginning at 7:00pm EST, in a ceremony that will once again benefit the Actors Fund.

The Hollywood Arts Council's 26th Annual Charlie Awards will take place at The Blossom Room in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at noon on Thursday, March 29, 2012. This year's honorees will include James Burrows, Cirque du Soleil, Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles, The Ricard Montalban Theatre, Hollywood Center Studios and Eric Garcetti.

Upright Cabaret has named veteran Broadway star, director and recording artist Billy Porter as Artistic Director overseeing work with affiliated artists on shaping their performances, liaise with musical directors on song selection and interpretation and provide added structure to existing shows. The show, with music, lyrics and book by Jonathan Larson Award Winner Matt Gould, will play six performances at the ATA Theater (314 W. 54th Street) September 25th - October 4th, 2007.
